This is a photograph of elementary six pupils of Community School Amodu taken in December 2001. Community School Amodu is the first primary school in Amodu and for many decades it remained the only primary school in this village. Although it is centrally located, it is still far away for many pupils.

Community School Amodu, one single stone house built in L-shape, is now in a very shabby situation, and would have collapsed completely if not for communal efforts and financial aids from some well-meaning sons and daughters of Amodu.
